Richard Beason speaking at Navigation: to Net Zero

International conference hosted in Hull, 2026

We’re delighted to share that Richard Beason will be representing Humber Freeport as a speaker at the PIANC Hull 2026 international conference, Navigation: to Net Zero.

Taking to the stage on Day 2, Richard will deliver a presentation titled A Catalyst for Investment and Growth in the Humber Region – providing an overview of the UK freeports model, a close look at Humber Freeport, and an exploration of the financial benefits available through both tax and customs sites, as well as the long-term legacy Humber Freeport is creating for the region.

The conference brings together policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators from across the globe to chart a collective course toward net zero in maritime and waterborne transport – and Humber Freeport is proud to have a voice in that conversation.
