A £10 million investment by Bunge, delivered with Associated British Ports, has expanded storage capacity to approximately 75,000 tonnes.

The facility supports bulk commodities including grains and agricultural products, with direct access to deep-water berths capable of handling vessels of up to 80,000 tonnes.

Ongoing investment in port infrastructure continues to strengthen Immingham’s role as a critical gateway for global trade.

  • Road: 80% of the UK’s population is located within a 4hr drive. ​AHP / AEP located within minutes of the A180 dual carriageway with congestion-free, high-speed road links – from the A160 to M180 through to the M18, M1 and M62.
  • Air: Humber Freeport is close to 3 international airports (2 of which are hubs for air freight) Humberside Airport is located 8 miles to the west with daily flights to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
  • Sea: Frequent Sea freight services from the river Humber to European and Scandinavian offshore renewables industry hubs.​
  • Rail: Direct rail access into AHP & AEP. Humber Freeport is well-connected to Britain’s large and extensive rail network. Less than 1hr travel time to Leeds, Doncaster, and York, and less than 90 mins to Sheffield.
