Stephen is Deputy Chair of the Hull and East Yorkshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP).

He was leader of East Riding of Yorkshire Council for 28 years and is currently Business Development Director of Wren Kitchens.

Stephen’s other interests include as Project Director of The Business Day, a prestigious event he conceived in 2017, bringing together 700 delegates from the region to celebrate the region’s successes and inspiring opportunities. He also acts as a trustee for a number of charitable organisations.
