Accessibility Policy

This policy sets out what we do to ensure that this website and the information on it is accessible to as many people as possible.

If you have any questions about this policy you can email us on contact@humberfreeport.org

Plain English

We aim to use plain English as much as possible. We use Flesch reading ease scores to help us to keep the language we use accessible. This enables translation software and screen reading software to operate better and be more accurate.

Screen Readers

When adding text to the website, we add it as text rather than put text on graphics so that screen readers are able to work accurately and efficiently. We aim to create hyperlinks which will make sense to screen readers.

Visual Impact

We aim to use contrasting colours to assist those with visual impairments.

If you have any questions or suggestions for improvement please email us on contact@humberfreeport.org
