“If you work in property or investment, then you simply need to be at UKREiiF.”

That’s what last year’s Prop Star, Cameron Wood, had to say when he reflected on joining Humber Freeport at UKREiiF in Leeds.

This year, we’re back at the UK’s leading investment and infrastructure forum. And we’re looking for another rising star to join us.

UKREiiF is taking place in Leeds from May 20th to 22nd and we’re offering an amazing opportunity to attend the UK’s biggest event for property professionals.

It’s a chance to meet investors, developers, local authorities, agents and contractors and attend some of the many events and breakout sessions.

The successful candidate will be an early career professional – aged under 25 – who is making a big impact and forging a successful path in the fields of property, planning, development or investment.

Applicants are welcome from both private and public sectors, and we’re also open to individuals working in an apprenticeship role.

Last year, Cameron Wood joined us at UKREiiF as our Prop Star.

Last year, our Prop Star was Cameron Wood, who at the time was working as a Consultant at Shared Agenda. Cameron has since progressed to become Project Development Manager at Vital Energi Utilities.

Speaking about his experience at UKREiiF, Cameron said: “I entered the Prop Star competition because I knew UKREiiF would put me in a room with people I would not normally have the opportunity to meet.

“For someone early in their career, it’s so important to get yourself out there meeting as many people as you can. If you work in property or investment, then you simply need to be at UKREiiF.”

To be in with a chance of joining us at UKREiiF, all you need to do is:

  • Tell us about yourself – your background, career history and current role (max 50 words).
  • Tell us why you’d love to attend UKREiiF and how it will support your personal and professional development (max 100 words).

Please email your nomination, including your contact details, to contact@humberfreeport.org, using the subject line ‘Prop Star.’

The deadline for nominations is Tuesday, 22nd April.
