Humber Freeport is looking for an experienced director to lead its Board.
The strategic leadership role will require the individual to operate in a rapidly changing and complex environment.
The Chair must also have the commercial experience to help the Board capitalise on trade and investment opportunities across the Freeport.
They will work to promote the strategic value of the Humber region to the wider UK economy, and will play a prominent role within the business and political communities.
Humber Freeport is looking for its new Chair to take on the role from July 1.
Professor Neal Juster, Interim Chair and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Lincoln, said: “Humber Freeport has reached an exciting point in its development as it accelerates inward investment and job creation.

“We are searching for a dynamic Chair who can lead the public-private Board members in ensuring that the Humber Freeport leads the transformation of the Humber region.”
To date, more than £1.2bn of investment has been pledged across the Freeport’s three tax sites – in Hull, Goole and at Immingham’s Able Humber Port.
The Freeport’s £25m seed capital fund has supported more than half a dozen strategic projects across the region, and working closely with organisations including Humber Energy Board, Humber Freeport is supporting the development of skills and innovation pipelines across both banks of the estuary.
